PROFESSIONAL
Adriana has extensive professional experience, having worked in Colombia at two specialised firms. She worked as an intern at H&A in 2011, subsequently returning to Colombia and joining an important Colombian firm to head the department entrusted with the development of competitive strategies for the protection of patents and international trademarks, the preparation of legal concepts and replying to objections raised by the Trademark and Patent Offices of other countries, as well as the negotiation and signing of Distribution Contracts, Licence and Franchise Agreements, inter alia, for the establishment of new national and international businesses.
She has continued her career in different firms and organisations, focused on Industrial and Intellectual Property, and she arrives directly from the Department of Innovation of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where she was entrusted with defining the process for protecting the intellectual property and managing the know-how and innovation arising internally from within the university, which means that she has been involved in the different aspects and strategies related to the protection of intangible assets.
Adriana is Secretary of the Intellectual Property Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce, Colombia Chapter.
