Miguel joined H&A in 2017, developing his activity in practically all areas related to drafting and prosecution of patent applications in Spain and other countries, as well as PCT and European Patent applications in the mechanical and telecommunications fields.
His first job as patent attorney trainee was in Munich at Grünecker, the largest IP firm in Europe.
Later, he moved to London, where he had the opportunity to work at Carpmaels & Ransford, a leading UK firm, and also in Grünecker, one of the most reputable firms in the IP business in Europe. In Carpmaels, he performed tasks related to the prosecution of European patent applications in the technical field of medical devices.
He also worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Madrid, remotely working with a team of US patent attorneys. In HPE, Miguel increased his patent drafting skills in the technical fields of server computing, fiber optics and network computing.
In 2023, Miguel obtained the diploma on patent litigation in Europe, that qualifies patent attorneys to represent clients during infringement and nullity proceedings before the European Patent Court under the Unitary Patent Convention.
