EPO “10-day rule” grand finale on November 1st

Between 2000 and 2009 Susana Ruiz was an examiner with the European Patent Office. In 2009 she joined H&A, where she assists our clients as a patent consultant.
She has ample experience in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, especially for European patents, as well as with preparing patentability and infringement reports. She is well versed in oppositions, appeals and Oral Proceedings before the European Patent Office.
Susana obtained the title of “Qualified Patent Information Professional” (QPIP), issued by the “International Standards board for Qualified Patent Information Professionals” (ISBQPIP)”. This title recognizes more than ten years of her professional experience in patents, as well as her qualification regarding diverse patent related matters according to the highest quality and professional standards, such as patent infringements, relational patent investigations, management of grant procedures and freedom to operate.
Susana teaches several classes for professionals, such as the EQE preparation course and the CEIPI’s European Patent Law conferences.
She worked for the Academy of the EPO organising workshops and guided visits for IP professionals, judges and examiners from Spain and Latin-America.
She has lectured in numerous training courses at universities and technology centres.
She is a co-author of the textbook “Guía práctica para preparar el EQE”.
